  This is a 5 star review well deserved by Alistair, Katie, Jim, Jean and Sionaid. Myself and My Partner (Alex) Love visiting this site for a quick get away form the hustle and bustle of life. Its close enough to home (Fife) for Alex to commute to and from work when he is on call, and quiet enough for me and our two dogs to get plenty of rest and fresh air. We were only supposed to be staying the two nights as we usually do, but decided to stay longer, the owners really care about their visitors and will always offer to help with anything they can. The toilets are extremely well kept and time is spent by the staff giving them a deep clean. The walk to the West of the site is perfect for walking and boasts a lovely walk along a beautiful valley at the edge of a stream. We would love a gait to be installed as Paddy our Standard Poodle struggled with the stile. Make sure you don't throw out your unused bread the friendly hens love coming up for the feed here and there. We always go for a Hard Standing pitch and there is plenty of room for our car and a full sized awning on the pitch. We love this site so much we stayed 11 nights and are even considering going back next week. You are less than 4 miles from Livingston and one mile from East Calder where you will find a Tesco and Co-Op although the reception on site does stock the necessities
